The VASHRM Board has adopted the ASHRM Cancellation Policy. It is outlined below:
Registrants unable to attend may send an alternate. If the alternate is not a member of VASHRM and the original registrant is a member, the nonmember differential must be paid.
Registration fees, less a $100 cancellation fee, are refundable if written notice is received before April 11th. No refunds after April 11, 2019. All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing to: [email protected]. All refunds will be provided after the conference.
In the event of a personal emergency, such as a personal illness or injury that prevents the registrant from attending a program, the registrant may appy the program registration fees to the following program.
VASHRM cannot be held liable for nonrefundable travel or hotel room deposits. VASHRM reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a program because of an insufficient number of registration, or to close registration when programs are full. VASHRM may cancel a program when circumstances beyond VASHRM's control-including, but not limited to, acts of nature, governmental authority or war in the United States-make it impractical or impossible to host the program or may put participants in harm's way. In such cases, VASHRM will refund the registration fee paid by the registrant.
